Oh god I'm here again and I'll tell you what, it NEVER gets easier.
In fact I think I'm pickier than when I was younger, when all I was looking for was someone tall, cute and fun. Now I'm looking for something long-term, husband material, someone I could see myself growing old with - what a tall order?!
And how do you even go about it? Long gone are the days when I have the time, money or energy to go out every night and meet someone organically. Now it's all down to these fandangled phone apps - and the fact I used fandangled just proves how out of the dating scene I am.
Tinder... actually, when I was still with my ex he had a client who was working on a BETA app that we signed up to as testers. It was under a different name back then but it's generally the same thing.
Using your location, it offers you pictures of guys and girls that you can either 'like' or 'dislike'. If you like someone and they like you, you 'match' and you have the option for communication. Great. Simple enough...

Hmm, maybe not as simple as I thought.
Am I rushing into this? No, it's nearly been 6 months; it's time to start the next stage. Can you do that if you haven't completely reached the finish line of the first? Shut up hope, shut up, we're doing this.
Ooh okay, cute. Like

Okay I'm bored now. I'll try again next month....

Maintaining focus
When something like a break-up comes along to shake your world up a bit, it's almost like a snow globe effect. Your plans, living arrangements, aspirations go up in the air and settle in a different place. You do not have, or you have little, control of where they land.
I'm currently struggling with my concentration at work. I'm questioning if what I'm doing is what I want - along with a lot of things.
For some reason lots of people at work are asking to be linked with me on LinkedIn, so this morning I clicked on to the website to accept the invitations. I came across the following article: How To Stay Engaged When Your Job Sucks by Ilya Pozin, CEO of Open Me. Columnist for Inc, Forbes & LinkedIn. Serial Entrepreneur.
I'm hoping that it will help me in the meantime, and if it can assist any of you too whether you're going through a break-up or just generally unsure of where you are in your life or profession then I'm glad to have brought it to your attention.

TOILET PAPER DRAMA
I know some people have already read this because I posted it on my Myspace page and Hi5 but I thought that I'd open up the debate to the rest of the world (since I don't use many more social networks).
Basically, I hate the toilet paper my work place provides. The only other place I've had a worse experience with it was when I was on holiday in New York. There it was like wiping your arse with a post-it. Things just got messy!
So, why can't employers just provide us with an enjoyable 'potty' experience?
My work place has an issue with the toilet paper they buy. No, no actually that's wrong, I have an issue with the toilet paper my work place buys. It's CHEAP!
I used to have issues with getting my hands wet (Yes that's right) I'd practically finger myself while trying to wipe because the tissue would rip.
So I decided to use close to half the roll, which I then found hard to flush. Peeing should be a no-brainer but I'm having to calculate tissue paper against water pressure (I really didn't need the added annoyance)
But I put up with it, mainly because I refuse to bring in my own. Oh and guys.... Air Freshner please?!
